Cancellation & Refund Policy
CraftMakers.org is a marketplace that connects customers with independent crafters. Each item is handmade or uniquely produced, so policies may vary slightly by crafter. The following guidelines apply to all orders placed through our platform.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase, provided the item has not yet been shipped.
- If the item has already shipped, the order cannot be canceled.
- Custom or personalized orders may not be eligible for cancellation once production has begun.
Refund Eligibility
You may be eligible for a refund if:
- Your item does not arrive
- Your item arrives damaged
- Your item is significantly different from the description or photos
Requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.
Non-Refundable Situations
- Buyer’s remorse or change of mind
- Minor variations due to the handmade nature of items
- Incorrect shipping address provided by the buyer
- Normal wear and tear after use
Returns
Returns are handled on a case-by-case basis and may require approval from the crafter.
- Customers may be responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect.
- Returned items must be in original condition unless damaged upon arrival.
How to Request a Refund
- Contact the crafter directly through your order page
- If the issue is not resolved, contact CraftMakers support
- Provide photos and details of the issue (if applicable)
CraftMakers may step in to review and help resolve disputes to ensure a fair outcome for both customers and crafters.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
- Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the issue was due to an error by the crafter
